Feeling better, here..

The boys are finally feeling better. YAY.. This was the first time we had an illness like this sweep through and get us..(All but 'D', he stayed healthy)..

We're dog-sitting (or dog-napping) as the boys call it. This is Grandma's puppy, Zippy. We'll have him for a few more days. The boys are doing such a good job with him too. No complaints when I tell them to take him outside, no matter what time or how cold it is.. Of course I found myself outside with him at midnight last night..But, I really like this little pup, so I didn't mind at all..

And to make the last post of 2007 right..I'll post a recent snap of each of my buddies...

And silly 'L'..just a little too close..but LOVE the happiness in that smile..

And my Baby J...He's learned to 'smile' for the camera.. He's a bit jealous of Zippy the Puppy, when I was taking pictures of the puppy he'd get in front of the camera and say, 'No, Mama, MEEEEE'...and make his 'smile'...

Sick again...

Baby J has been hit by the sick bug again..well actually we all have been... This time it's the FLU. UGH, Christmas Day, Baby J came down with it then the rest of the family in the days to follow.. Prayerfully this will be the last illness for him for a LONG time...

And here's another ornament from our tree.. Here we are back in 1995..

Christmas....

We had a wonderful Christmas.. We were surrounded by family and LOVE all day. Spent Christmas morning at home, then visited both sets of Grandparents for the rest of the day. The boys were excited and happy all day. We enjoyed wonderful food (including BUCKEYES and Spinach Dip, courtesy of my Grandma) all day long.

And Baby J, snoozing by the tree... He fell asleep watching Elmo Saves Christmas, so of course we left him until we were ready for bed, which was VERY late...

Grandma R. got a puppy for Christmas. Grandpa named him 'Zippy'... While we were snapping pictures of him Grandma kept calling him DUDE...LOL..

Pine Cone Trees....

L made pine cones tree in Sunday School a couple Sunday's ago. The 'lesson' is centered around Psalm 42:2- My soul thirsteth for the living God... So after L's lesson, I decided all the boys needed to do this lesson. We all need to thirst for/after the Lord..

Baby J....

Baby J is not feeling well.. He's sick with a severe sinus infection..I take the buddies (D and B) to school everyday. Yesterday morning, he stayed asleep propped up on the couch for an hour and a half after we returned home. We cover him in the car each morning (it's COLD, here) and I wrapped him up to bring him in from the car and he stayed warm and cozy and asleep... Poor guy..




And, yes, he has cookie crumbs on his mouth.. The adorable little guy had a cookie after his breakfast. These were taken yesterday, his redness in his face was not as bad at the time. Later in the day though he became severely red and raw on his face.. We did put Aloe Vera gel all over his face and he healed to a nice pink.. Poor guy is draining and draining and draining..

The memories from the tree....

Some of you know this feeling, some will be feeling this soon..

Each year, whether it be for Sunday School, public school or an at home activity, the boys create Christmas ornaments with their own hands. They love these ornaments and get so excited to see them on the tree. This Christmas we decided we would only put these types of ornaments on our trees. So our tree is decorated with the boys ornaments, picture ornaments I have made, bulbs I have painted with our names on them as well as 2 special bulbs a great friend painted.. My tree is beautiful. The love that is adorning it just truly lights up our room...

Took him out VERY quickly today to look at the snow..


This second one, I used an action to add a bit of snow..should have waited a little bit and more would have been there naturally as we are going to buried in the snow for the next 2 days..

Fun in the 'sun'..

So..L's Pink Eye is actually a sinus infection, as noted with the pink in the eye, out of the eye and the 'puffiness'.. Poor guy..

Baby J had an awesome time playing outside this afternoon.. and I had fun just chasing after him and snapping a few or so of him...
