Can you see me???

J spends nearly ALL of his bath time ON his belly. He just loves the water. And today, I took a few pictures. I haven't really taken pictures of him in the tub before, it's awfully hard to not include what you don't want in a picture in such a small place. I don't have a wide angle lens presently, so with my 50mm on the camera I had to climb to capture him. So imagine me, straddling OVER the sides of the bathtubs, with my CAMERA. And those that know me well, know that my camera is like a baby to me. So you probably can't see me doing this in the first image...But you should see me in the second..If you can't, just click on the second and you should see me in his catchlights..

Snow Day = Picture day for this mama..

So, the boys had a snow day today..4th one for us. And, when your mama is a photographer that means you must become the subject. Intention was for all 4 of them to get together, but again, it just didn't happen. By the time we were ready to set up, Baby J was ready for a nap. So, I'm still trying for the grand portrait in my living room. It'll come one day, soon, I hope.

Of course these guitar ones are for B's special friends.. We LOVE you and appreciate all you have done for him.








I'll probably be posting more from today, as I haven't edited all of them. I got some of each of the boys and then some of L and B outside in the snow together. Keep checking back, I'll be posting them soon..

Did you stay up to see it???

For those of you who go to bed early...my take on the lunar eclipse..I'm not a moon photographer, but still had fun and am happy with the results..







While viewing this, it is so amazing to think how wonderful and awesome our God is.. How he created the heavens, the earth, this entire world and gave us this wonderful view this evening..WOW...

Happy...

L is my sweetheart.. He loves to do things for others. He's given away candy, cards and even money to people. He enjoys having those around him happy. And today while I was reading at the table he came up to me and rested his head on the table, and well, I said, stay right there 'L'..and he did, because he knew this picture would put a smile on my face, and it does. This one just reminds me of how sweet and innocent this little guy is..


Now since some prefer color over my beloved B/W, I'll show you the color of this one..


This little guy is just so happy!! He laughs, smiles and just walks around like the happiest most joyful being there is. Of course most of the time he's laughing, smiling and happy because he's being ROTTEN!!!!

Another of J from Saturday..

Was going to try to get a nice portrait of all 4 of the boys today..just didn't work out..I did take a couple pictures that I like, BUT it's for a very special project that is to come..have an idea for something and I just can't share yet..Yeah, I'm bad, I know.. But it'll be worth the wait..

And because we all like those smiling happy pictures, here's another of J, smiling, happy and looking directly at the camera..




Saturday's concert was really an awesome experience. It was a night that began with a song by John Waller, calling to the Lord to flood every part of this room with Himself, fill us up.. (I can't remember the title, sorry)..then came a great group called Leland, they sang several songs, awesome group themselves..Then out came Casting Crowns, my favorite group EVER!! Well, one song for me, as a mom, that really puts being a Christian mother in line : Slow Fade..(you can go to GodTube.com for a video or google the lyrics for this song..

But basically the song reminds us that how we live, what we say, do, how we act- will show those little feet behind us, how to talk, what to do, and how to act and live.. what we hear is what we wear, and then what they hear, what they see, where they go as well.. For them to grow to love the Lord, they need to see us loving Him, praising Him and worshiping Him..

A verse to remember for what you do and where you think you might be: I Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

Okay..well, since I like the song so much, I'll just embed it.. This isn't the entire song, but the only one I could find on there..

Grandma bought him a new sweater and hat..

So, I had to take some pictures in them..

Photographer Child Syndrome..

So, as you all know, I adore photographing him..he's just so adorable..we just don't always agree on what makes a nice photograph. I love the eyes. I love seeing them, capturing them, etc. But with Baby J. He'll let me take his picture looking down AND smiling..


And looking away....


And even SMILING while covering his face..


Before he'll let me get that adore smile and eyes in the picture..



Yeah..I feel for him, being the child of a photographer must really be hard...

And, yes I know they're all processed a little differently, I was just messing around in PS..

Happy Valentine's Day..

Valentine Love..

L has a super sweet teacher at Pioneer Club every Wednesday night..He bought her a card and made her a cookie... For his teacher, he decorated a yummy, sugar cookie sucker with cream cheese frosting, red jelly beans (in a heart shape) and sprinkled LOTS of red sugar sprinkles all over it..


And no, he didn't bite out of it, it's just misshaped..

Decent weather for play..

Had some wonderful weather here for early February..Little guy got to enjoy some time outside..couldn't play too much as the ground is covered with several mud spots but he certainly enjoyed just getting outside for some air..and a little swinging..



God's favour is happiness..He has put gladness in my heart..
